Venkateswara Temple, Tirumala – Dhruva Theertham
Dhruva Theertham is one of the popular Theerthams in Tirumala. It is the place, where Dhruva Maharishi did penance for Maha Vishnu. Hence, this Theertham came to be called as Dhruva Theertham. If one drinks water from this Theertham or sprinkles Theertham water on their head will bless devotee with knowledge. This Theertham is easily reachable from Japali Theertham. It is a 30 mins walk from Japali Theertham to this place. Water here comes out of the rocks, Path to this Theertham is a mud road through the forest. It is highly suggested to ask the locals or the shop vendors for directions to this Theertham.
