The Temple is located at about 500 meters from Kalighat Mandir Bus Stop, 500 meters from Keoratala Shamshan Bus Stop, 500 meters from Kalighat Tram Depot, 750 meters from Jatin Das Park Metro Station, 750 meters from Kalighat Metro Station, 7 Kms from Sealdah Railway Station, 11 Kms from Howrah Railway Station and 25 Kms from Kolkata Airport.

By Road:

Kalighat is located in south Calcutta. Buses are available from all parts of Calcutta. All buses going to south Calcutta have to pass through Shyam Prasad Mukherjee Road. The temple is off this road. You get down in Kalighat Mandir (Kalighat Tram Depot) Bus Stop and walk down the Kali Temple road to the temple.

By Tram:

The famous Kolkata Tram has a terminus at Kalighat and is accessible from Ballygunge and Tollygunge routes of the tramways (500 meters from the Temple).

By Metro Train:

The nearest metro stations are Jatin Das Park and Kalighat. Please take the Northern exit in Jatin Das Park and the Southern exit in Kalighat. The steps in Jatin Das Park Station are many and steep. There is an escalator in Kalighat station. It is advisable for elderly people to alight at the Kalighat Metro Station.
