Kapilesvara Temple, Hatuari, Odisha
Kapilesvara Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva located in Hatuari village in Dhenkanal District in Odisha, India. It is considered as one of the oldest temple in Dhenkanal District. The temple is situated in a small island of the river Ramiala. It is a protected monument maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India, Bhubaneswar Circle.
History
The temple was built during 14th century CE by Eastern Gangas. It is a protected monument maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India, Bhubaneswar Circle.
The Temple
This temple is facing towards east. The temple is Pancharatha on plan and Panchangabada in elevation. Tha temple has a rekha vimana of Kalingan order. The vimana is square on plan. The Sanctum houses a Shiva Linga within a circular yonipitha.

Rakhi Purnima are the festivals celebrated here.
