Paramahamsa Nigamananda
Saraswathi Nirbikalpa Samadhi is a Nirbikalpa Siddhi sthal located very near to
the famous Kamakhya Temple located Guwahati City in Kamrup District of Assam,
India. It is situated on the Nilachal Hill. It is situated on the banks of
Brahmaputra river.
History
Paramahamsa Nigamananda
Saraswathi was a great spiritual guru (Master) of India who attained Nirvana at
this place. He was the founder of Assam Bangaiya Saraswat Math at Kokilamukh on
the banks of river Brahmaputra 9 Kms away from the Jorhat town of Assam.
Nirbikalpa means a stage where a person can watch the universal phenomenon of
the creator through meditation and find the body is not soul and it is totally
out of any bondage.
To attain such stage is only possible for those who
practised different sadhana. Sri Sri Nigamananda in his whole life practised 4
different sadhanas to reach the highest point of universal truth, these are
Tantra, Yoga, Gyan and Prem sadhana. He attained his Nirbikalpa Samadhi at this
place. It is situated in the Nilachal Hill very close to famous Kamakhya
Temple.
