Gogarbham dam is one of the reservoirs that supply water to Tirumala residents. This Gogarbham dam is constructed across Gogarbham stream for Tirumala Drinking water purpose. This is a small Dam, beside the Gogarbham Dam one park has been established for pilgrims to relax, good maintenance still to Improve more. This reservoir falls on the way to Papavinasanam and is on the hilltop of Tirumala, an abode of Lord Venkateshwara.



The reservoir falls in the middle of the green mountains, one would just fall in love with this tranquil beauty. There are pockets of mound in the middle of the reservoir supporting some trees and is home to birds around. Mornings and Evenings would be the best time to see this tranquil beauty. One can take a long walk to this place or catch a local taxi that are available in plenty from Tirumala. 


The Dam is located at about 1 Km from Tirumala RTC Bus Station, 1 Km from Tirumala Venkateshwara Swamy Temple, 2 Kms from Tirumala Main Bus Stand, 23 Kms from Tirupati Railway Station, 24 Kms from Tirupati Central Bus Station and 40 Kms from Tirupati Airport.
