Venugopala Swamy Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to
Lord Vishnu located at Tirumala in Tirupati in the state of Andhra Pradesh,
India. The Temple is situated on the way to Papavinasam from Tirumala
Venkateshwara Temple. The Temple is maintained by the Swamy Hathiramji Mutt.
Presiding Deity is called as Venugopala Swamy.
Hathiramji Samadhi can be found on the right side while
coming out of Venugopala Swami Temple. The Temple is located at about 3 Kms
from Tirumala RTC Bus Station, 3 Kms from Tirumala Venkateshwara Swamy Temple,
4 Kms from Tirumala Main Bus Stand, 25 Kms from Tirupati Railway Station, 27
Kms from Tirupati Central Bus Station and 43 Kms from Tirupati Airport.
A.P.S.R.T.C buses are available from Kalyani Choultry
near CRO from 5 a.m, every day. For every 20 minute a bus will start from here.
The bus goes to Papavinasam via Sri Venu Gopala Swamy Temple, Japali Temple and
Akasha Ganga Theertham. One ticket is enough for all places. Private Taxis are also
available to the Shrine. Usually Devotees visit Papavinasanam and while way
back they plan to visit Sri Venu Gopala Swamy temple.
