Bhaktha Anjaneya Swamy Temple is a beautiful Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, situated on Srivari Mettu Path in Tirumala in Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh.

History
This temple was built around 1442 CE during the rule of Saluva Narasimha Raya. Though in course of time temple was left to ruins. There is an interesting story behind the Temple current status. Once L&T company engineers planned a pipeline from Kalyani Dam to Tirumala for Water supply, even after completion of the work, the water was not reaching the destination, especially at the area of this old temple, even after many trails it was unsuccessful, the tired engineers prayed to Lord Hanuman if this project succeeds, they will re build the temple and make it function with Nitya Dhoopa Deepa Naivedya. After this prayer commitment, the pipeline issue got solved miraculously and L&T company re built the temple.

The Temple
Rama Bhaktha Anjaneya Swamy is in a standing posture in a very serene and tranquil place located on the (east of) Srinivasa Mangapuram - Srivari Mettu - Tirumala Road. The atmosphere here is very excellent and pleasing to the heart. All pilgrims must devote sometime to meditate upon the Supreme Lord Sri Venkateswara in the divine company of Sri Rama Bhaktha Anjaneya Swamy, before proceeding towards Tirumala via Srivari Mettu to have darshan of the Supreme Lord Sri Venkateswara.
