Rohini Kunda, Puri, Odisha
Rohini Kunda is one of the sacred Tirthas, located in
Puri, a famous pilgrimage town in the state of Odisha, India. It is a sacred
well located within Jagannath Temple premises,
near the Vimala Temple. Rohini Kund is one of the
five Panchatirthas of Jagannath Puri Dham. Rohini Kunda is located at about 2
Kms from Puri Bus Stand and 3 Kms from Puri Railway Station.

The Tank
Rohini Kunda is a sacred well located within
the Jagannath Temple premises,
near the Vimala Temple. Rohini Kund was a large
water tank in ancient times and gradually lost its size and now it is in the
form of small tub. There is a carved stone image of Bhusanda Kaka on the floor
of the Kund. Nabi Chakra is situated next to the Rohini Kund, in the shape of
Nilachakra. There is a four-foot-tall statue of a crow sits beside the Nabi
Chakra. Both Nabi Chakra and Crow forms part of Indradyumna legend. Foot Prints
of Sage Markandeya can be seen on the eastern side of Rohini Kund.
