Pandava Gufa, Gangotri, Uttarakhand
Pandava Gufa is an ancient cave located near Gangotri in Uttarakhand,
India. The Pandava Gufa is usually visited by the visitors who come to Gangotri
specially because of the scenic beauty on the way to the caves. The route is
blessed with lush greenery and hilly terrains. Pandava Gufa is situated at
about 1.5 Kms from Gangotri right on the Uttarkashi – Gangotri road. It can be
reached after a trek of 1.5 km from Gangotri.

Pandava Gufa is the place where the Pandavas are
believed to have meditated and rested en route Kailash.

Gangotri is located at
about 26 Kms from Harsil, 100 Kms from Uttarkashi, 263 Kms from Rishikesh
Railway Station, 266 Kms from Dehradun Airport, 267 Kms from Rishikesh, 285 Kms
from Haridwar, 286 Kms from Haridwar Railway Station and 503 Kms from New Delhi
Airport. Gangotri is situated at the end of NH 108. Pilgrims need to go to
Uttarkashi by GMOU bus or private taxi. From Uttarkashi, four wheelers are
available on shared basis to Gangotri. Gangotri is connected with motorable
roads, buses and taxis from important destinations like Rishikesh, Dehradun,
Uttarkashi and Tehri Garhwal. Pandava Gufa is situated at about 1.5 Kms from
Gangotri right on the Uttarkashi – Gangotri road. It can be reached after a
trek of 1.5 km from Gangotri.
