Virat Shakti Peeth is a Hindu
Temple dedicated to Goddess Sakthi located in Virat Nagar Town in Jaipur
District in Rajasthan State in India. The Temple is considered as one of the 51
Shakti Peethas. Being one of the 51 Shakti
Peethas of Hindu Mythology, this temple is one of the holiest
sites for devotees of the Shakti sect of Hinduism.

The Temple
This temple is situated on a
hill top with a water source at the base. The uniqueness is that with each
Shaktipeeth there needs to be a guarding deity Bhairav. Here this deity is
within the complex on the hill top. Lord Shiva is being worshipped as Lord Amriteshwar.
The Sanctum houses an idol of Ambika. There is ancient Neem tree situated right
behind the sanctum.

The Temple remains open from 05.30
A.M. in the morning till 08.00 P.M. in the evenings.
Festivals
Makar Sankranti, Nav Ratri,
Deepavali, Ram Navami, Sharad Purnima, Somvati Amavasya, Gangaur and Maha
Shivrathri are the festivals celebrated in this Temple.

The Temple is located at about
27 Kms from Shahpura, 28 Kms from Sariska Tiger Reserve, 64 Kms from Alwar
Railway Station, 66 Kms from Alwar, 88 Kms from Jaipur and 97 Kms from Jaipur
Airport. The Temple is situated on Shahpura to Alwar Route (NH 248A).
