Biraja Temple is a Hindu Temple
dedicated to Goddess Durga, located in Jajpur Town in Jajpur District in Odisha
State, India. Biraja Temple is the oldest and most celebrated Saktha Shrines of
Odisha. The Temple is one of 18 Maha Shakti Peethas, highly revered
temples throughout South Asia, that commemorate the location
of fallen body parts of the Hindu deity Sati.
Jajpur is considered as the second of Tri Gaya Kshetrams
of India.

Airport. Jajpur is well connected to Cuttack and Bhubaneshwar. Regular Buses
are available from Cuttack and Bhubaneshwar to Jajpur Town.
