Manibhadresvara Temple is a Hindu
Temple dedicated to Lord
Shiva located in Bhubaneswar, the state capital of Odisha, India. This
temple is located in a private property adjacent to the Vaital temple complex. It
is looked after by the owner Rabindra Kumar Paramaguru. The temple is listed
among the protected monuments of ASI. The Temple is located
on the right side of the Ratha road, leading from Lingaraja temple to Rameswar Temple.
History
The Temple is believed to be built in 8th
Century CE by Bhaumakara Dynasty.
The Temple
This is a small east facing temple and not in worship. The
temple is square on plan. The temple is Triratha and in elevation it has
triangabada on plan. The Vimana is of rekha deula style. Pabhaga is buried and
the amalaka stone is broken.
